101st Airborne 506th PIR, 2nd Battalion, "E" Co.
HELMET: WWII McCord Front Seam D-bale shell. M2 chinstraps with solid brass hardware. The OD paint & cork texture, 506th spades were aged for a "Combat Worn" appearance. Steel pot is in good but used condition. Heat stamp is: 1074B (The new bales were properly spot welded on by Me.)

HELMET LINER: This is an actual/authentic/genuine WWII Era Westinghouse paratrooper liner. The liner has been restored using both original & premium aged/weathered parts. The A-yokes & chincup are aged repro's. (The remains of the original A-yokes & rivets will be included.)
The last picture shows the liner with what was left of its original A-yokes. Troopers were known for cutting them off after a jump. In any shape, original Jump liners are RARE!!!

Here's what is original on this helmet:
-Original Drawstring helmet net.
-M1 Liner Chinstrap. (See the pics) The leather is not perfect, however it is not dry rotted either, just be gentle with it.
-Sweatband HBT webbing & clips (The leather is new & aged.)
-Nape strap was made from original webbing.
-Original center tie-string.
-The liners HBT webbing & washers are factory installed/original.
-Those DOT snaps on the liner are 100% authentic/original.
