WWII M2 101st Airborne Helmet 501st PIR D-bale Front Seam & Firestone Paratrooper liner.
HELMET: WWII McCord Front Seam D-bale shell. M2 chinstraps with early war cast buckle. The 501st PIR 2nd Bn. Diamonds & LT. rank were hand painted & aged to look like a "Heavy Combat Worn" helmet. Steel pot is in good but used condition. Heat stamp is: 39B (The new bales were properly spot welded on by Me.)
The oxidation on the brass & nickel hardware are authentic... not painted on. Also, the Diamond measures roughly 1" on all four sides.
LINER: This Firestone liner & has been restored as an "Inland Style "Airborne model. HBT webbing, Steel type A-washers, nape strap, tie-string, sweatband, A-yokes w/wire buckles & liner chinstrap plus leather chincup are highly detailed/aged repro's. The drawstring helmet net & burlap scrim are included! The Lieutenant officer bar/pin is original to the liner, it was NOT added on by me, plus the OD paint is authentic.
Why purchase this helmet? Well, the reality is that finding an original helmet like this would be near impossible to find in this condition... and if, if you found one, a knowledgeable collector would ask for nothing less than $15,000.00 for an M2 like this.
PAYMENTS: I accept PAYPAL & Credit cards Via STRIPE PAYMENTS. Shipping in the USA is $17.95 I ALWAYS combine shipping, please ask for quotes. Any and all questions, please ask before purchasing.

Tariffs... Hi all, I have ZERO knowledge with the constant changing implementation of tariffs. If you were to order this, there is a very good chance you'll get hit with a 20%-45% tariff/tax fee. So again, double check with me.
