WWII M1 US Army 4-Panel Medic Helmet Schlueter Front Seam & CAPAC Liner.
HELMET: WWII Schlueter Front Seam swivel bale. M1 chinstraps. The dark OD paint & cork texture are new with a very authentic look & feel, the red cross panels were hand painted for a "Combat Worn" appearance. The interior paint is all original. Steel pot is in good but used condition.
HELMET LINER: This is a WWII Era CAPAC helmet liner. The HBT is mostly all original, I had to make a small repair. The sweatband & liner strap are premium quality aged repro's. The OD paint is new too. For an 80-year-old liner, the body is in very good condition. The nape strap & tie string are original too.
The Drawstring helmet is net is a surplus original item... not a repro.
Schlueter only made 2% of all steel pots during WWII, so they are considered rare among front seam shells.
