HELMET: WWII McCord Front Seam Fixed-bale shell. The helmet has been fully restored to look like a "Combat Worn" camo pattern 517th PRCT Helmet. The "Rigger Modified" chinstraps, Fixed-bale, chin straps & aging/weathering were applied/made by Me. Heat stamp is: 751D ***Vintage Shrimp netting is definitely included, the camo pattern was added by Me!!***
The Fixed-bales, name & numbers inside the shell & liner are 100% authentic!!!
The vast majority of these helmets were M1 Fixed bale types with some M2's d-bales as well. Both are 100% accurate & the camo patterns varied too.
HELMET LINER: CAPAC-Westinghouse helmet liner restored as a super early type with HBT webbing, steel A-washers, sweatband, nape strap & liner chin strap are Premium aged replicas.
💥💥💥The sweatband was built using an Original WWII Double-wire adjuster with vintage spring clips. (the leather & webbing are from Jmurrayinc1944)💥💥💥
