WWII M1 US NAVY (U.S.N.) Helmet

This is a McCord Front-Seam (fixed bale) shell, New OD paint & texture with an authentic look & feel, M1 Chinstraps made from surplus US GI webbing & original WWII steel hardware. The new bales have been neatly & properly spot welded on. All USN insignias were Hand painted & Aged by Me for that "Heavy Combat Worn" appearance. Heat stamp is 1019 D

💥💥💥💥PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHSING, IT'S IMPORTANT. This front seam has been sitting in the shop for over 2 years, it has a dent on the top towards the rear, both bales were missing, multiple repaints, has a small break in the rim and the shell has been pushed in on one side, she was a hot mess & I almost tossed this steel pot in the trash... BUT, I chose not too and restored her as a heavily used U.S. Navy helmet as used during the D-Day landings.
