WWII M2 D-bale 101st Airborne 506th 2nd Bn. PIR Helmet Front Seam Firestone Paratrooper Liner.
101st Airborne Division. JUNE 6TH 1944, NORMANDY, D-DAY.
HELMET: WWII Front Seam D-bale shell. M2 chinstraps with early war cast buckle. The 506th 2nd Bn. insignias were hand painted (BY ME) then aged & weathered to look like a "Combat Worn" helmet. Steel pot is in used but good condition.
***The D-bales are made from "Raw" steel & properly spot welded.***
ORIGINAL/Authentic U.S.G.I. Webbing was used for the chinstraps & A-yokes, Not repro.
LINER: This is a WWII Era Firestone liner has been restored as an Airborne model. HBT webbing, (Original steel A-washers) & Nape strap. A-yokes w/wire buckles, sweatband, liner strap & chamois lined leather chincup. The Drawstring helmet net & scrim are included! This liner still has its original factory coat of OD Green.
