WWII M2 D-bale 101st Airborne 326th Engineers Helmet Front Seam Westinghouse Paratrooper Liner.
101st Airborne Division. JUNE 6TH 1944, NORMANDY, D-DAY.
ORIGINAL/Authentic U.S.G.I. Webbing was used for the chinstraps & A-yokes, Not repro.
HELMET: WWII Front Seam D-bale shell. M2 chinstraps with brass hardware. The 326th Engineer 3rd Battalion insignias were hand painted (BY ME) then aged & weathered to look like a "Combat Worn" helmet. Steel pot is in good but used condition.
***The D-bales are properly spot welded & made from RAW STEEL... not stainless steel.***
LINER: This is a WWII Era Westinghouse liner that has been restored as an Airborne model. HBT webbing & nape strap. OD#7 A-yokes w/cast buckles, sweatband, liner strap & chamois lined leather chincup. The Drawstring helmet net, scrim & WWII Era Goggles are all included (the elastic is a bit worn)! ***The Liners OD green paint is original, see pics as there is a wartime repair made to the rear... NOT by me.
