WWII 101ST 506TH AIRBORNE HELMET & LINER SET.

HELMET: WWII Front Seam D-bale shell. M2 chinstraps with early war cast buckle. 506th Insignias & paint are all aged to look like a "Combat Worn" helmet. Steel pot is in good but used condition. Heat stamp appears to be: 983F

***The D-bales are properly spot welded and made from Raw Steel which is accurate for WWII*** The name G.W. CHAPMAN written in there & interior paint minus where the new bales were applied is authentic & original... Not applied By Me.

LINER: This is a RARE INLAND/Firestone liner that has been fully restored as an Airborne model. HBT webbing, Steel parkerized A-washers & Nape strap. The A-yokes w/wire buckles, sweatband, liner strap & leather chincup are high quality aged repro's. The OD Green Drawstring helmet & scrim are all included!

This liner was originally manufactured by INLAND and later acquired by Firestone, hence the two stamps.

The chinstrap 3/4" webbing & A-yoke 5/8" webbing are vintage surplus. The A-yoke buckles are original and the hardware on the leather chinstrap is 100% Authentic WWII parts and yes, that is a WWII Flat-Flip cam buckle.
