HELMET: WWII McCord Front-Seam converted into a M2 Dbale shell. Proper M2 chinstraps with nickel snaps & brass hardware. The 508th PIR (1st Battalion), Camo Pattern & "HH" insignias plus camo pattern were hand painted by Me then aged & weathered for a "Combat Worn" appearance. Heat stamp is: 108A
Unlike the 101st & 17th Airborne Divisions, the 82nd ABN used Camouflage on their helmets in many different variations, from Green & Black combos, Vesicant gas detecting paint, spraying over a net, etc.
